One way to save a lot of syns would be to switch out your yoghurt to no fat yoghurt and keep it plain then make your low syn granola, we've listed the recipe details below which contains 3 syns plus your Healthy Extra B for the day. Ingredients All good things are made of chocolate. Am I right or am I right? I love how the slight bitterness of dark chocolate goes with the sweetness of sliced almonds and crunch of roasted rolled oats in this recipe of oat clusters. If you in are team milk chocolate or team white chocolate, go ahead and swap the dark chocolate in this recipe with that. PEANUT BUTTER

INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR OAT CLUSTERS

I love almonds. One of my favourite nuts which are so versatile and brings such a perfect crunch and flavour to everything they are put it. I have used store bought sliced almonds but feel free to slice almonds at home. You can also swap almonds with peanuts, hazelnuts or any other nut of your choice in these oat clusters. SEA SALT (OPTIONAL) Granola is usually made from oats roasted with oil with a number of sugar types, so it’s not perfectly healthy, especially when made using cheaper forms of sugar, including less desirable gluco-fructose syrup, which is often oversweet. Cheap oils can be used for roasting. However, good yogurt encourages healthy gut function, so a change from breakfast rolls to yogurt, granola, and fruit is a welcome first step.

Light - Have a job that involves long periods of sitting (office-based / driving) or are home-based and sitting for much of the day. Typical jobs: office worker, sales rep, bus/taxi/lorry driver. Heavy - Active for much of the day, walking non-stop and carrying objects. Typical jobs: hospital/ward nurse, waitressing in a busy restaurant, cleaner, porter, labourer/construction worker, gardener, farm worker. Leisure Activity Level Toasted granola with low-fat yogurt, this one flavoured with raspberry, has added dietary fibre and wholegrain bran flakes. Sugars from added sugar, syrup, baker’s honey and the fruit compote bring sugars to 8.1% and protein is a fair 5.8%. This runny yogurt had no fresh raspberry flavour and the crunchy granola was unremarkable. Natural Low Fat Yogurt ( Milk) (70.4%), Cereal (26%); (Oat flakes (43.3%), Sugar, Cereal Crisp (Contains Rice Flour, Fortified Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin (B3), Thiamin (B1), Barley Flour, Sunflower Oil, Sunflower Lecithins), Rapeseed Oil, Desiccated Coconut, Skimmed Milk Powder, Blossom Honey, Natural Vanilla Flavour), Raspberry Fudge (3.6%): (Sugar, Glucose Syrup, Fondant (Sugar, Glucose, Water), RSPO Certified Palm Oil, Freeze Dried Raspberry Pieces, Natural Flavouring, Natural Colour (Anthocyanin, Glycerine DI Water), Emulsifier: Soya Lecithin). This simple blend of creamy yogurt with a topping of oatflakes, coconut, extruded rice, wheat flakes and hazelnuts appealed to tasters. Invert sugar (a mix of glucose and fructose) and cane sugar used on the topping brings sugars to a reasonable 7.8%, with protein a fair 5.6%.Palm oil — not labelled as coming from sustainable sources — is used. Tasters happy with quality for the price.

Sainsbury's On the Go Greek Style Yogurt with Mixed Berry Compote & Crispy Granola 210g - 13 syns per pot. Great tasting natural yogurt, crunchy oat clusters with dark and milk chocolate pieces. + Nutritional Info This recipe is a whole nother level. I can’t begin to explain how amazing this recipe is. I will put it in 3 words: Easy and Scrumptious. It literally took me 15 minutes since it was my first time doing it and didn’t want to mess up but if I would do it a second time I would do it like in 5 minutes; it’s that easy. The taste, just wow it is so perfect. I wanted granola but because of the whole pandemic, I couldn’t find one that I would like since I like to take the sweetness of the granola and mix it up with just natural yogurt and the flavors compliment each other so freaking well. Decided to look a recipe up and this did it for me, by far the best. ** Little Disclaimer: the recipe calls for 1/3 cup of honey and I ended up using around 3/4 cup. I read the comments beforehand so I got my whole bottle of natural honey ready to be used but yeah just keep in mind you will use a whole lot of honey. Other than that, I would marry this granola in a blink of an eye.
